Do you train really difficult or challenging dogs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, I do! Behavioral training programs are for dogs who display any of these behaviors:
1. Reactivity (barking, growling, lunging) at windows, doors, or while outside, on-leash.
2. Undesired/antisocial behavior toward other dogs, kids, cats, livestock, vets, etc
3. General anxiety, confinement anxiety (crate), car anxiety
4. Thunderstorm phobia, sound sensitivity (fireworks, etc), fearfulness
5. Difficulty with guest arrival (growling, barking, charging toward, hand shy, etc)

Do you train puppies?

Accepted Answer

Yes! I work with dogs, of any age, who are displaying challenging and undesired behavior. If your only concerns are *potty-training* or *house-training* then you wouldn't need a behavioral training program. But, if your concerns are more significant (barking, growling, lunging, jumping, snarling, snapping), then my behavioral training programs likely fit the bill.

Does training cost more for multiple dogs?

No. The program price remains the same, even if you own multiple dogs, who all live together.

Question 5

Do my dog's vaccinations need to be up-to-date?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Prior to the very first in-home lesson, the contract and up-to-date vaccination records will need to be submitted online.
 
I require all dogs to be vaccinated, and up-to-date, against Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (Distemper/Parvo is commonly listed as DA2PP, DH2PP, DA2PPC, or DAPP). These are routine vaccinations. Proof of vaccinations (copy of vet bill will suffice) may be attached to the contract, or emailed to me as an attachment (especially if the file is too big to attach to the contract). You can take a photo of your vet bill with your cell phone and attach that photo to the contract (or email that photo), as long as the vet bill can still easily be read.

Do I need to complete Social Dog Mastery™️ (the online program)?

Accepted Answer

Yes! VIP Social Harmony is a hybrid program (both online and in-home) that begins with your enrollment in Social Dog Mastery™️ (the online program). (Social Dog Mastery™️ is an extremely comprehensive online behavioral training program!) Within about 2 weeks of starting Social Dog Mastery™️, we'll be able to schedule your first in-home lesson, and about 2 weeks after that, we'll schedule your second in-home lesson. In-home lessons end up being VERY productive and nuanced because you've already learned the "basics" online, so we can fast-track to advanced concepts when I'm actually standing in your living room!

Can I just schedule in-home lessons without learning from Social Dog Mastery™️ (the online program)?

Accepted Answer

Without learning from Social Dog Mastery™️ (the online program), we'd need to schedule 12-15 in-home lessons so that I could teach you all of the training techniques (that are already filmed and edited inside Social Dog Mastery™️). A 12-15 lesson program would require a 4-5 month time commitment, and it would be priced at $6,000+. Instead, I am offering my local clients a more time-efficient, affordable, hybrid program!

What do the 45-minute Strategy Calls entail?

Strategy Calls are scheduled (via Zoom) so that we can continue to problem solve your dog's most challenging behaviors. These Zoom calls are scheduled at any point in time, during the 2-month program timeframe. You get direct support, fast! Update me with "what's happening," and we'll develop a plan for resolving any tricky or persistent behaviors!

What happens if an in-home lesson, or a Zoom call, needs to be rescheduled?

We are all too busy, too sick, or traveling, at times! That’s life, and it’s completely understandable! In-home lessons and/or Zoom calls can be changed or canceled, more than 24 hours in advance, by emailing me: theincrediblek9@gmail.com. Lessons and Zoom calls will not interfere with vacations and holidays, because we just schedule around them!

What happens if I need MORE in-home lessons?

No worries! We'll get started with what's outlined here, and more lessons and support can be added, if and when necessary.

Credit cards are accepted and a payment plan is available! If you'd like to use a credit card, then I will send you a link/invoice for payment. Cash and checks are also accepted.
