Private 1-on-1 Lessons
Private 1-on-1 lessons are suitable for both puppies and adult dogs, and are focused on addressing specific areas of your dog’s life that need a calming influence! We will help your dog develop resilience and composure around triggers and challenge stimuli, including people, cars, children, dogs, other animals, and more...
Private lessons are great for puppies and adult dogs that have high energy, hyperactivity, anxiety, aggression, an inability to settle and relax inside or outside, reactivity toward dogs, people, noises, or objects, and/or poor leash manners. Private lessons are also excellent for dogs who are fearful or anxious, and who may be overwhelmed, adrenalized, or intimidated by stimuli in the world. I regularly work with dogs who may bark out the window, "get into trouble", have difficulty with handling or grooming, who may do poorly at the veterinarian’s office, want to chase moving objects, kids, or animals, may have difficulty with guest arrival, who won’t stop jumping on or mouthing owners or guests, who pull hard on the leash, who pant, tremble, whine, or bark in the car or crate, and/or have gotten into a dog fight, etc. The list could go on and on!
During private lessons, we will develop your dog’s ability to remain calm when seeing stimulating or stressful things, to greet guests politely, and to relax inside and outside of the house around noises, objects, movement, etc. Additionally, we can focus on leash manners, coming when called, or door manners, so that your dog doesn’t pull you around, run off, or dart out the door.
My training programs will significantly improve and resolve minor, major, pesky, or persistent problems. Together, we can solve problems that others deem "unsolvable"!

1) Foundation Program
This program is most popular for trouble-shooting behavioral challenges. This 1-on-1 private lesson program is suitable for both puppies and adult dogs, and is focused on addressing specific areas of your dog’s life that need a calming influence and extra attention. Lessons are catered to the needs of your family and your dog(s). Multiple dogs are no additional cost. This program includes:

2) Reliable Recall Program
This program is most popular for off-leash training! Do you dream of a dog who behaves off-leash? Who returns every time that you call? A 100% reliable off-leash recall is invaluable! This 1-on-1 private lesson program is ideal for a well-behaved dog (6 months or older) who just has selective hearing! Off-leash training is also valuable to address chasing wildlife, eating undesired objects (like socks and feces), counter surfing, digging, etc… which can now be addressed from a far greater distance than what is otherwise possible. For one dog, this program includes:

3) Loose Leash Walking Board & Train Program
Does your dog haul on the leash? Is your dog weaving back and forth, or pulling you off the road? During this Board and Train Program, your dog lives with me for 4 days and 3 nights, so multiple loose leash training sessions can occur throughout each day. Progress occurs quickly during this time, because the dog is living with me! Additionally, we'll complete one Go-Home Lesson together, on the day that you pick up your dog. This program includes:
